
Raymond Snoddy is a freelance journalist who writes regularly for The Independent after being Media Editor of The Times for seven years. Before moving to The Times he was a reporter on the Financial Times for 19 years, writing mainly about media and communication issues. Ray has presented television series on the media, including Hard News on Channel 4 and Media Monthly on Sky News and is currently the presenter of NewsWatch, the BBC News 24 accountability programme. Books include The Good, The Bad and the Unacceptable on presentation standards and Greenfinger on Michael Green and Carlton Communications. Ray was educated at Queens University Belfast.
