
Russell E. Perry is currently Head of Product Management Betting at bwin, the world's leading and publicly traded online gaming company. As member of the Senior Management Team, Russell is responsible for bwin's largest product area, Sports Betting and Media Licensing, with revenues of approx. € 200 mln. bwin's sports betting portfolio is the most extensive in the industry, covering more than 100 sports, 500 leagues, in nearly 100 countries. Special emphasis is on redefining the live, or inplay, betting offer through integrating live sports-streaming into the betting product. bwin streams more than 300 live events every month.
In the past 5 years at bwin, Russell was also responsible for defining and leading the multi-channel product strategy of the company, setting the standard for mobile betting and casino games through precise product positioning and cross-media marketing. In addition, he established strategic partnerships with the largest telecommunications firms and diversified media companies in more than 25 countries.
Prior engagements include a Board Level position at Telefonica Moviles 3G Mobile AG Switzerland responsible for product development of 3G and mobile media services. As Head of Product Management at One, Austria's third Mobile Operator, he has launched several industry firsts, such as MoneyMania, a web and mobile real-time multi-user game.
Russell is a graduate of Maryville College where he received a BA in International Studies. He also holds a MSc/MAS dual-degree in Telematics Management and a MES degree in European Studies from Danube University Krems (Austria).
