Sean Jefferson, CEO, MindShare Performance
Sean Jefferson has worked for nearly 20 years in sponsorship, advertising, event marketing and PR, across major international sports, music and the arts.
Before joining MindShare in 2007, as Global Sponsorship Director at Diageo, he was responsible for managing the company's global sponsorship, events and PR portfolio, for brands such as Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, Guinness, Baileys, Captain Morgan, Jose Cuervo and Tanqueray. In his time at Diageo, Sean successfully negotiated some of the company's largest sponsorship deals such as the ground-breaking Johnnie Walker and Team McLaren Mercedes deal, the Guinness Premiership and an innovative multi-brand, multi-regional ICC Cricket World Cup deal for Johnnie Walker, Red Stripe and Guinness.
Previously, he has represented General Motors, Hyundai, Sony PlayStation, MasterCard, Barclaycard, Sky TV, for agencies such as the Lowe Group and Octagon. Major projects include Euro 96 and 2000, World Cup '98 and 2002, Rugby World Cup 91 and 95 and Barclaycard Premiership; while at Bass Brewers he lead the way in the sponsorship market with the Carling Premiership, and the T in The Park festival.
