Andy Chen, VP, Digital, Viacom Brand Solutions International


Based in London, Andy Chen is the vice president of digital solutions for Viacom Brand Solutions International (VBSI), a full service commercial unit dedicated to develop 360 marketing solutions for global clients. Prior to Viacom, Andy was the digital media strategy director at Carat Global Management & Isobar Global.

A passionate advocate for international business, Andy has also lived and worked in Copenhagen and Stockholm, where he was a management consultant for the Swedish Advertising Association. He received his undergraduate degree from University of California, Berkeley; and a MBA with distinction honors in global management from Stockholm University, School of Business.

Named one of the "20 Rising Media Stars to Watch in 2004" by Media Magazine in the U.S., Andy is a frequent international conference speaker on digital media. As the author of over 50 published articles, he is a columnist for ClickZ on behavioral targeting and planning. He published his first collaborative book, "The Changing Communication Paradigm," in November 2005.

Andy bought one of the first 468x90 homepage banners on a small search engine called Google in 1999. He loves his hometown San Francisco and now spends his time between London and Amsterdam.
