Paul Bay is the founder of citizensound, an international music marketing collective offering sonic strategies for brands and their agencies, along with brand strategies for musicians, managers and labels.

As a collective of experienced people with a unique blend of research, music marketing, brand strategy and digital expertise, we deliver soundideas - ideas that benefit Brands, Artists and Music Lovers. Our services include; consumer and music trends analysis, music search and licensing, sales promotion, music marketing and brand strategy, trade marketing, live events and experiential marketing, digital music applications and services, artist and music partnerships, and ROI measurement and analysis. citizensound is also at the forefront of the rise of the DIY music culture, helping brands and musicians connect even closer to consumers.

Paul is also founder of citizenbay, set up in Jan 2004 to help brands shake up their approach to marketing. He has recently created an innovative twist on marketing inspired by desire line theory. 

Previously Director of Consumer Communications for Levi Strauss Europe, based in Brussels. His favourite music moment at Levi's was when the brand helped to re-form the three surviving members of the MC5. Previously Paul held various senior international roles at advertising and media agencies in the UK and Europe.
