Latest speakersSir John Hegarty, chairman and chief creative officer of BBH, has joined the conference agenda, alongside the EU Commissioner responsible for media affairs and telecommunications policy, Viviane Reding. As keynotes, they will speak alongside Ben Silverman, co-chairman of NBC and Mike Murphy, global head of sales for Facebook.
February 2008Latest partnersThe latest companies to announce their Partnership with the Venice Festival of Media in 2008 include Atlas Solutions, sponsoring the Gala Dinner; AD Europe, bringing 100+ digital marketers from across Europe to join the delegation; OMD, PHD, ESPN and MindShare. Over 400 delegates are now booked to attend the Festival.

January 2008VFM announces official charityThe Venice Festival of Media has announced that it is linking with WaterAid, a leading independent organisation which enables the world's poorest people gain access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene education. The WaterAid mission will be communicated to an audience of 850+ senior international media and advertising executives throughout the Festival. Delegates will be invited to make corporate or individual donations to support WaterAid's work.

Booking site now open! The Venice Festival of Media delegate booking site opened for bookings and companies are already reserving Festival passes and accommodation for their delegates.
October 2007First speakers reflect new dynamics of media communicationChuck Porter, Chair of celebrated US based advertising agency Crispin Porter + Bogusky, is amongst the first speakers to confirm their participation at the Festival. Chuck's involvement demonstrates that the Festival is as of much relevance to full service and creative agencies as it is to media specialists. He will be speaking about creative inspiration and where the choice of media channel fits within the creative process.
We are also delighted to have secured the involvement of Anssi Vanjoki, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Multimedia at Nokia. A highly respected brand and marketing authority, Anssi has been a visionary force in Nokia's efforts to address the mobile markets - he will be joining a panel of “the next generation" of media owners.
New Festival PartnersWe are pleased to welcome DDS as a new partner of the Venice Festival of Media. As part of their partnership involvement, DDS will be sponsoring a streamed session that will give an insight into how global procurement directors view media, with new, exclusively revealed research into procurement approaches and topical discussion.
September 2007First delegates book onProcter & Gamble are the first company to book their delegate places at the Venice Festival of Media 2008, with 17 senior executives from their global media team now registered to attend.
