Getting to Venice:
As Venice Festival of Media delegates journey to Venice from all over the globe, and most have their preferred airlines, we do not offer a flight booking service.


Airport:
The closest airport is Venice Marco Polo. www.veniceairport.it


To and from Venice Airport:
Upon arrival there will be signs to water taxi stands. The walking distance from the terminal to the taxi stand is approximately 5 minutes.
Note: No Airport Taxis are provided by the conference organizers. 


Travel Around Venice:
The main transportation means in Venice are water taxis and by foot. All hotels will be able to advise you on the best water taxi transport options available to you. 


Official Festival Transport:
Access to the official Venice Festival Water Taxis for transport between official Festival functions is available ONLY to those who book their hotel accommodation through the official booking site. (This includes transport to and from the hotel to the conference.)


Important Note:
An independent delegate (who has not booked through the official site) can expect to spend between £200 - £500 GBP on water taxis over the three day period, even if staying in one of the official hotels.
