Partners are very welcome to accompany delegates to Venice during the Venice Festival of Media.
- Please ensure that you book accommodation for your partner by booking your room for double occupancy on our booking site.
- Partners will be welcome to attend the Welcome Reception on Sunday 13th April.
- Please note that partners are not entitled to attend conference sessions.
- Partners are offered the opportunity to book two half day excursions, organised by our logistics partner, both available on Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th April. - Partners are invited to attend the Gala Dinner on the evening of Tuesday 15th April. Partner tickets for the black tie Gala Dinner cost £175 – this includes water transfers between your hotel and the venue, drinks reception, four course dinner with wine, entertainment and dancing. The Gala Dinner will take place at the famous Venice Arsenale – a renaissance ship building warehouse, wonderfully atmospheric and not usually open to the public. Again, please book extra Gala Dinner tickets for partners under OPTIONS on the booking site.
Venice itself was built upon a series of islands, sandbanks and land reclaimed from the lagoon. Any sign of those original islands has long since been lost as the city continued to grow and develop as a sea of stone swept over her origins.
But, not far from the historical centre of Venice, a string of Islands are waiting to be discovered, each one has its own particular attraction.
