
Stephen Norman, 52 years old was born in England and holds French nationality. He was educated at Whitgift and Leicester University from where he graduated with a degree in Economics and International Politics. From 1976 to 1994 he worked for the Rover Group in England, Belgium, Spain and in France where he was Marketing Director from 1987 to 1994. In 1994 he joined Volkswagen in France successively as Sales and Marketing Director, Managing Director and Chairman of the Group from 2000 to 2004.
In 2004 he became Managing Director of Fiat France and in 2005 was nominated Marketing Director, Worldwide of the Fiat Brand in Turin. He has been responsible for numerous incisive advertising campaigns and was awarded the Grand Prix, Strategies [all sectors] for the launch of the Sharan and has been voted advertising Man of the Year in France by Campaign magazine.
