John Billett, Chairman, billetts

John Billett has an extensive 35+ years in media.  First, in major advertising agencies where he was Media Director of two UK top 10 agencies and then later as an independent planning and buying business in the 80's. He is now Chairman of billetts, the international management consultancy specialising in enhancing marketing communications effectiveness.  Since an MBO in 1995, billetts has enjoyed eleven years of strong growth, now evaluating the expenditure efficiency of over 42% of the top 250 UK advertisers' media & promotions spend through its media consulting and marketing sciences businesses.  billetts is now the largest UK based marketing effectiveness consultancy.  The business has on-the-ground operations in Dublin, Dьsseldorf, Madrid, Milan, New York, Paris, Stockholm and Tokyo. 

John led the expansion of billetts into the USA, launching billetts America in October 2003.  This advertiser media service consultancy, MPMA (Media Performance Monitor America), with its US CEO PJ Leary and MD Eric Poritzky, is a business partnership between billetts and the leading US media consultant Erwin Ephron. For the first year achievement in winning US contracts from Nissan, Ford, Unilever Sony & KFC as the first five clients, John was given an AdAge Media Maven award for 2004. MPMA now has over 25 advertiser clients and a database of over $5 billion actual advertiser spending.
